The Warehouse Stock Controller oversees a team of warehouse personnel to ensure the provision of professional incoming goods, storage, and dispatch service to customers, encompassing both speed and accuracy. The warehouse function is the backbone of the Company as sufficient stock levels need to be maintained at all times, to provide goods as required to customers. Therefore, the Warehouse Department needs to operate at an optimum level for the overall success of the Company.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory
- Maintain stock and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering the various manufactured products ordered by customers.
- Planning, monitoring, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to Head Office and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogues as required.
- Maintain automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data and correct errors as they occur - report on any errors or issues that arise timeously.
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
- Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; reporting to Head Office regarding variances and suggestions for improvements.
- Secures warehouse by ensuring the premises is secure before closing. Perform quality checks on the equipment and product as determined by quality and ISO manuals.
- Perform all tasks to a high standard to meet Standard Operating Procedures and Codes of Conduct
- Achieve customer requirements for product quality, specification, and delivery.
- Plan loadouts, quantities and cleaning of equipment and warehouse facility daily.
- Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
- Liaise with production staff, maintenance staff and logistics staff to ensure the smooth running of the shift.
- Be the first line of problem solving and maintenance fault solutions within the Logistics Department
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and Production Management to ensure that long term goals and targets are met.
- Support companywide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers.
- Be an active functional member of the warehouse/production team. Co-operation and input will be required in relation to team performance, site growth and planning meetings.
- Appropriately follows instructions from Management without unnecessarily challenging authority, follows policies and procedures, keeps to schedules, arrives punctually, and demonstrates commitment to the organization.
- No unauthorized personnel are allowed in the warehouse at any time.
- Ensure the warehouse is in pristine condition at all times, exceptionally tidy and neat. Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
- The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse building externally and will also make sure all garden areas/pavement areas/driveways are spotlessly clean and well maintained always.
- The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining and enforcing that all equipment is in pristine condition, assisting in troubleshooting breakdowns and preventive maintenance and keeping/maintaining maintenance records for all equipment.
- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance.

**Salary**: From R10 500,00 per month
