**_Content Creator ( Copywriter)_**

We’re Digemy - an international award-winning EdTech start-up - and we’re looking for a full-time Content Creator to join our tight-knit and passionate team. Please make sure you follow the instructions in the **How to apply** section at the bottom of the page.

**_Who we are: _**

At the core of Digemy’s operations is our unique e-learning platform that is changing the face of the EdTech game by emphasizing mastery and retention rather than just tick-box completion, using the principles of adaptive learning and gamification. We use our platform to create both B2B and B2C learning solutions.

**_What you’ll be doing: _**

You’ll be involved in many aspects of content creation, with main tasks including:

- Content writing and research
- Course design and structuring
- Question creation
- Scriptwriting
- Implementation of course content onto the Digemy platform
- Quality control and proofreading

**_You'll also be: _**
- Working closely with the Head of Content and the rest of the Content Team
- Working with other departments within the Digemy team when required (ie. working with the Design Team to create video content)
- Working closely with your Project Manager to determine timelines and client follow-ups, and strategies learner profiles and objectives
- Working with clients to understand their vision for their learners and platform, and translating this vision into top-class course content
- Contributing to our marketing strategies, blog posts, and website copy
- Helping to elevate Digemy's content creation processes. You’ll push the boundaries, create and refine workflows and processes, drive continuous improvement, experimentation, and growth

**_Some essentials: _**
- You have at least 1-year experience in e-learning or a similar field
- You have a keen interest in the world of EdTech or education in general
- You have a passion for content writing and question creation
- You’re able to deliver content that is engaging and promotes learner retention
- You’re able to dial into a variety of different content topics to create engaging questions
- You’re able to work on more than one project at a time
- You’re keen to learn, step outside of your comfort zone, and try new things
- You can represent Digemy and its ethos through your work
- You are proactive and self-motivated
- You're a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can follow directions, though you're equally as happy to take a task and run with it
- You're not a perfectionist, but you always aim for excellence and put 100% into your work
- You have a growth mindset and you're always looking to improve

On that note, our office is based in Rondebosch, Cape Town. Like most companies, we shifted to working from home in 2020, but have now started going into the office as a team 1-2 days a week. Some people choose to spend more time at the office, and it’s always available if that’s where you prefer to work.
