Mobile Device Management Technician

A digital bank with a strong entrepreneurial identity and a high-performance culture is looking for a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Technician to support the business operations by facilitating an efficient and reliable technology support services for networks and mobile device fleets to enabling the company and its stakeholders to meet its service standards. The Technician also makes a proactive contribution to the implementation of new products and systems, risk mitigation, monitoring, continuous improvement, reporting and the realization of cost optimizations within the area of responsibility.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Mobile Device Management Services
- Accurately and timeously capture all changes including inventory of hardware and software to reflect accurate operating status when required
- Provide basic orientation for staff on the use of hardware and software
- Reduce risk through the development and implementation of MDM policies — including security and reporting
- Manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot and optimize a holistic MDM
- Support and maintain the Mobile Device Management platform
- Deploy new technologies and solutions as driven by internal architect, engineering and business requirements
- Understanding the functions of Internet of Things
Customer and Supplier Experience
- Support the staff of key suppliers and customers in the areas of operations by using established standards for query investigation, workflow, issue escalation and speedy problem resolution
- Contribute to positive customer experience by addressing device related queries within the allocated service level time frames
- Giving accurate information and correctly maintaining details of service interactions
- Remain productive and fully engaged, rising to meet the needs of customers when work arrival patterns exceed the norm
Network support
- Accurately and timeously capture all changes to reflect accurate operating status
- Configure and manage W-Link routers
- Manage and monitor APN Sim Cards
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of daily/weekly/monthly operational checklists and reports and timely error resolution
Process Adherence, Implementation and Improvement
- Maintain operational processes and best practices already in place, ensuring supporting documentation is accurately maintained
- Support the implementation of new or revised software and processes and provide constructive feedback where appropriate
- Contributing to improved staff and customer satisfaction by engaging in efforts to improve and streamline customer experience within the area of operation
- Test, update and maintain all process changes within area of operation
Operational, Regulatory Risk and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to the Bank’s Code of Conduct, Fraud, Risk and Compliance policies across all areas of operation
- Identify, monitor and report on operational, fraud and regulatory risk items within company guidelines
- Appropriate and timeous escalation of issues and queries to relevant responsible individuals within the risk and compliance functions
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12
- A+ and N+ Certification
- JIRA Knowledge will be advantageous
- D365 knowledge will be advantageous
- 1 - 2 Years in a desktop or device support position is ideal
- Device Management experience
- Strong command of Microsoft and troubleshooting
- Strong command of Google Android OS on various devices
- Attention to detail
- Quality orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
**Salary**: Up to R15 000,00 per month
