A leading B2B tech devices firm is urgently seeking an experienced MDM administrator. You will provide MDM expertise by assisting the Technology Operations Manager in configuring, administering, and provisioning mobile devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical mobile device configuration background with hands-on experience with SureMDM, Samsung Knoxguard, ScaleFusion and/or Flickswitch

Minimum requirements include but are not limited to the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology or related
  • Experience in SureMDM, Samsung Knox Guard, ScaleFusion
  • At least 3+ years previous MDM system administration experience
  • Additional Network+ certification and/or A+ certification would be an advantage
  • Basic network administration (DHCP, DNS) and troubleshooting experience
  • High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support all aspects of Mobile Device Lifecycle of mobile support, procurement, deployment, refresh, reclamation, decommission, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement changes to apps, operating systems, restrictions, and usage of mobile devices
  • Maintain strict policy and standardized profiles for all mobile devices
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with managed mobile devices
  • Assist other technology Team Members in research of problems
  • Responsible for troubleshooting a myriad of hardware, network, and software issues related to managed mobile devices
  • Add/delete/modify user account information and documents from managed mobile devices accordingly
  • Address requests to add, modify, create, and remove permissions from managed mobile devices
  • Set up equipment for client use, ensuring proper installation of cases, operating systems, and software
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to business partners or other technology Team Members for service
  • Monitor enterprise systems for performance, reliability, and capacity and execute appropriate support, maintenance, upgrades, and changes as needed
