DC Meat Wholesalers is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cashbook Accounts to join our finance team.

This is a critical role that supports the smooth operation of our accounting processes and contributes to financial integrity.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Maintain and reconcile multiple cashbooks daily
- Process bank statements and allocate transactions accurately
- Monitor and manage cash flow across accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries related to cashbook transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding payments and receipts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

**Requirements**:

- A relevant financial qualification or diploma is advantageous
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar cashbook role
- Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel Evolution)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Have own reliable transport.
