This is a critical role that supports the smooth operation of our accounting processes and contributes to financial integrity.Key responsibilities:Maintain and reconcile multiple cashbooks dailyProcess bank statements and allocate transactions accuratelyMonitor and manage cash flow across accountsPrepare and post journal entries related to cashbook transactionsAssist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresLiaise with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding payments and receiptsEnsure compliance with company policies and financial regulationsRequirements:Matric (Grade 12) with Accounting as a subjectA relevant financial qualification or diploma is advantageousMinimum 3 years experience in a similar cashbook roleProficiency in accounting software (Pastel Evolution)Strong Excel skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesHave own reliable transport.
