A Leading Sports Marketing Agency dedicated to the commercialisation of sport in South Africa is looking for a Key Accounts Executive to look after one of their biggest clients. Their primary business is to position brands in a lasting and mutually beneficial partnership with rights holders to enhance the sporting experience on and off the field. We focus on the promotion of brands by exercising professional services such as sponsorship, digital stadium advertising and event hospitality alongside South Africa's top sporting disciplines, including cricket and rugby.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Will be required to travel regularly to attend Clients and Sponsors meetings and related events
At least 5 years in Key Account Management
Must understand the game of Rugby
Bachelors degree or an equivalent
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office especially, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Good understanding of digital marketing as a discipline
Familiarity and working experience with Sales Force Automation tools such as Salesforce and others
**Communication**: must be comfortable engaging with C-Suites as well as coordination of the Operations and Sales Departments
**Company and Client Expertise**: must have a deep knowledge of both the Company and the Clients business to be able to match sales opportunities to Clients needs
**Strategic Perspective**: must be long-term focused rather than getting absorbed by short-term gains
**Leadership**: must be adept at directing customers and managing employees at all levels of the business.
**Skilled negotiator**: must, not only close deal, but also be able to negotiate terms to the benefit of the parties involved

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Act as the main point of contact between the Company and their biggest client
Develop and sustain effective relationship with their Client and Sponsors
Develop an Account Plan by which to identify key stakeholders (Client and Sponsors)
Ensure that all Rights are delivered to the Sponsors satisfaction
Address and resolve Clients and Sponsors complaints
Meet with Client and Sponsors on a regular basis
Compile regular reports on account progress
Manage all Sponsors contracts and ensure an in-depth understanding of each contract
Manage the Company contract with the Client and ensure an in-depth understanding of the contract
Carryout regular Account analysis and scan the environment for key trends that could impact the Client and Sponsors
Identify cross and upsell opportunities for Sponsors, based on a deep understanding of the Sponsors marketing communication needs
Coordinate pre-sales and post sales follow up and negotiate contracts
