**Job Scope**:
This position oversees all the daily clinical operations and demands the incumbent to maintain a high level of clinical team performance by providing direct and indirect guidance, direction, planning, training, assessment, and feedback to address the needs of the clients. This position is required to collaborate with the Admissions, Medical, and Support teams to deliver the best treatment to potential and existing clients. The Clinical Lead is part of the overall company’s management team.
- Acts as a role model, mentor, and coach to the clinical team, providing developmental opportunities for staff to acquire clinical rehabilitation skills and expertise; encourages therapists to seek advanced training, supervision, and specialty certifications.
- Communicate with head of departments to provide all necessary updates to address immediate concerns and approval of all administrative decisions that affect the Clinical staff and programme on a monthly basis.
- Comprehensively oversee the clinical teams by providing clinical guidance compliant to professional codes of ethics, such as regularly monitoring staff and client progress, utilising data from a client survey, gaining insights from internal meetings, etc., that respond to clients’ needs.
- Regularly monitor quality assurance of all clinical records for clients including documentation and confidentiality.
- Ensure all incident reports that pertain to clinical issues are addressed in a timely manner and assess risk factors to prevent further harm.
- Take charge in manpower and roster management to allocate adequate human resources in particular services for workflow and efficient treatment.
- Ensure all professional practitioners’ licenses in the Clinical and Medical teams are valid.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s Degree from an accredited educational institution in an appropriate Behavioural Science, mental health discipline or recognised helping profession.
- License in Psychologist or Other professional certification in the addiction and mental health treatment or related specialty is a plus.
- Experience with supervision and/or management of clinical services of an alcohol and drug addiction programme and support staff.
- Experience in residential rehab, behavioural health facility or psychiatric hospital is preferred.
- Experience with trauma-informed services, cognitive behavioural therapies including DBT, and motivational therapies including the use of incentives preferred.
- Experience with the EMR system is a plus.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, a skill set to engage clients and get clients engaged.

- Proficient in written and verbal communication, including group facilitation skills.
- Conflict resolution skills are preferred.

**Salary**: R54,000.00 - R64,000.00 per month
