**How you’ll make an impact**

Xero is growing rapidly all over the world and South Africa is an important market to our growth plans. With a rapidly growing number of customers in the region, in addition to over two million worldwide, we’re well positioned to lead cloud accounting across the region.

We are looking for a marketing leader for a critical senior role to lead our South Africa marketing strategy and help steer Xero through a period of unprecedented growth. You will be an authentic leader who cares about people and is experienced in developing and leading a team of talented, passionate, marketing experts. You’ll provide expert coaching, direction and leadership. You’ll inspire others because you care about our purpose along with being a champion and guardian of the Xero brand, always ensuring we consistently deliver a beautiful experience for our customers.

You’ll be an experienced marketer, who possesses a unique mix of creative talent, analytical skills, structure and focus while being capable of thinking outside the box, creating compelling campaigns and win-win partnerships with businesses in the region and bringing a strong commercial discipline to everything we do.

With ownership for a growing marketing budget you'll have the full support and resources of the Xero leadership team and wider marketing leadership team to continue Xero’s phenomenal South African success.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Extensive marketing experience with a mix of leadership, strategy and implementation
- Proven leadership experience either with direct reports or cross-functionally
- Outstanding marketing skills, delivering high impact campaigns that lift brand awareness and purchase behaviour
- Solid understanding of B2B software
- Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to think outside the box to find ways to drive demand
- Comfortable turning business strategy into practical, effective campaigns
