**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
In line with adumo’s purpose; to be a catalyst for Growth: Grow our customers, grow our communities, grow our continent, and ultimately grow our people The Executive: Marketing & Brand role encompasses this purpose in its entirety.
The Executive: Marketing & Brand should devise and implement initiatives that contribute to the strategic direction (growth) of adumo by developing and driving the marketing strategy and implementation. This includes ensuring optimal effectiveness of brand management, growth marketing, public relations, internal & external communications as well as product positioning/marketing. The Marketing Executive should be fully customer-centric and tailor all strategies to “buyer” specific requirements nationally and regionally across a broad range of consumers (emerging and established market segments).

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Sound understanding of creating, setting-up & running an internal marketing agency.
- Sound understanding of company drivers
- Ability to translate strategic direction into business plans
- A thorough understanding of the fintech industry is required
- Conventional marketing initiatives/ approaches need to be adapted to the unique nature and needs of the business
- Sound experience as a manager of function/business

- Able to understand the marketing & brand requirements of adumo and implement and adapt marketing & brand concepts to the unique nature of the business
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant company policies, processes, and procedures
- Sound internal network
- Knowledge of relevant IT platforms

- Product packaging, positioning & marketing experience.
- Vertical/sector specific marketing strategies / initiatives.
- Leadership skills - ability to delegate; champion change/innovation; communicate effectively; instil confidence; positive attitudes; ability to inspire/motivate organization/staff around a common purpose.
- Excellent organizational skills - planning; resourcing; promotes teamwork.
- Strong prioritisation experience.
- Problem solving skills - be able to think out the box and be solution driven.
- Analyse this information to establish learning points and communicating these to relevant parties
- Adapt / modify the offering in accordance with learning points as roll out continue

**REQUIRED: EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**
**Minimum**
- Honours degree BCom Marketing or a related field (NGF Level 8)
- 7+ years’ experience in corporate Marketing Media/PR/ Advertising agency environment.
- 7+ years proven experience with Strategic Marketing planning and execution for large corporates
**Desired**
- MBA/or related
- Honours degree BCom Market or a related field (NGF Level 9)
- 10 + years’ experience in corporate Marketing, Media/PR/ Advertising agency environment
