**Job Overview**:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to assist our accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients. As a Trainee Bookkeeper, you'll learn and develop essential bookkeeping skills, working closely with experienced professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in processing financial transactions, invoices, and payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and spreadsheets
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Support preparation of financial statements and reports
- Develop and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless financial operations

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 0-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and related field preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is an asset
- Tax compliance basic knowledge is an asset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processe
