**Head of Digital Transformation and Innovation**

Boxer Superstores is seeking a seasoned digital leader with a strong background in data analytics, fintech and banking to drive our digital strategy and transformation initiatives. This role will be based at our Head Office in Westville, Durban, reporting directly to the CEO and Group Executive and will work closely with the Commercial, IT, Finance, and Operations teams.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Proven experience in digital strategy within fintech, banking, and retail innovation.
- Demonstrated success in e-commerce and financial services with a data-driven mindset.
- Expertise in leveraging AI, data analytics, and automation to drive business performance.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of scaling digital businesses.
- Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Digital Strategy & Transformation**:
Develop and execute Boxer’s digital innovation roadmap, driving e-commerce, loyalty programs, and customer engagement platforms, while implementing AI-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency.
- **Fintech & Financial Services**:
Expand Boxer Money Services by integrating digital payments and mobile money solutions, lead strategic partnerships to promote financial inclusion, and manage remittances, account payments, and credit solutions.
- **Data Analytics & Personalisation**:
Utilise customer and supplier data to optimise promotions, stock management, and pricing strategies, leveraging machine learning for customer behaviour analysis and refining loyalty programs to drive retention.
- **E-commerce & Omni-channel Growth**:
Strengthen Boxer’s online presence through the development of digital ordering and delivery solutions, ensuring seamless integration between digital platforms and physical stores.
- **Technology & Retail Innovation**:
Oversee the integration of new payment technologies such as QR codes, rapid payment systems, and mobile wallets, while driving process improvements in store operations and supply chain management.
