Short Insurance Portfolio Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage with existing financial intermediaries to foster partnerships.
2. Canvass new financial intermediaries to expand the network.
3. Achieve set new business targets while ensuring sustainable growth.
4. Provide expert advice to brokers to help them achieve their goals.
5. Build and maintain exceptional relationships with brokers.
6. Contribute to product development and system design improvements.
7. Conduct competitor product comparisons to highlight unique offerings.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Thrive under pressure with strong negotiating skills.
2. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
3. Demonstrate deep knowledge of policies, products, and systems.
4. Solve problems efficiently with a detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications & Experience:
1. 3 years of experience as a broker consultant or portfolio manager.
2. 10 years of experience in the short-term insurance industry.
3. NQF Level 4: Short-Term Commercial Lines 60 Credits.
4. Registered Representative Commercial/PL.
5. Successfully completed the RE 5 Examination Level 1.
