The ideal candidate will assist the department with tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax laws. The Tax Accountant will play a critical role in assisting with tax returns, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a customer service focus, self-driven, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines and swiftly resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

- The role involves aiding in the prompt filing of tax returns.
- Assist in audit documentation and support, maintaining withholding tax rate tables, maintaining transfer pricing documentation, and maintaining the Company's tax records.
- Collaborate with finance and tax systems, conduct research on different taxability issues for various transaction types and locations, and aid with field activities related to tax law and compliance.
- Support transfer pricing policies, aid in transfer pricing calculations, assist in computing the income tax provision, and handle other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

- Honours in Accounting with Articles
- Strong accounting knowledge is required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to read and comprehend financial statements
- Exceptional organizational skills are a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, English is a must.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite
- Must be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
