The Tax Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will assist the department with tax-related activities, including tax returns, tax-saving opportunities, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the prompt filing of tax returns.
  • Assist in audit documentation and support, maintaining withholding tax rate tables, and maintaining the Company's tax records.
  • Collaborate with finance and tax systems, conduct research on different taxability issues for various transaction types and locations, and aid with field activities related to tax law and compliance.
  • Support transfer pricing policies, aid in transfer pricing calculations, assist in computing the income tax provision, and handle other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Honours in Accounting with Articles.
  • Strong accounting knowledge is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend financial statements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills are a must.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, English is a must.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
