This is a hands-on role and the holder will equally provide configuration to Dynamics 365 CE as well as assisting in the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 solutions.
This role requires strong communication to a non-technical audience and the holder needs to be able to work at a strategic level as well as have hands-on tactical and operational skills to define work and troubleshoot/resolving issues in an effective way.
What You'll Do:
1. Working closely with the D365 Solution Architect to support the delivery of D365 CE initiatives – especially relating to Sales, Customer Services & Omnichannel. This will also include the Power Platform.
2. Working with the Business Teams to understand opportunities/requirements, develop user stories in DevOps (or ITSM) and define product backlog.
3. Inspiring the business through demonstrations of the possibilities of D365 CE modules and their wider capabilities/integration to meet Control Risks needs and strategic ambitions.
4. Maximising the use of D365 CE partnerships and take a configuration-first approach within the system vs overly customised. Striving for a vanilla solution wherever possible.
5. Supporting the teams with regression testing of solution, UAT, and training. Debugging bugs.
6. Developing functional designs, test plans and scripts where applicable.
7. Driving innovation such as building, customising and configuring the system as well as utilising for example Power Platform into your POC solutions.
8. Go-live and post-live support.
9. Resolving tickets and issues raised by Business Teams in accordance with internal service levels, processes, and procedures.
10. Preparing and representing D365 CE & Power Platform changes at CAB.
11. Advising customers on best practices for D365 CE & Power Platform processes, user interface and architecture.
12. Advising on complex D365 CE scenarios and proposing comprehensive solutions.
13. Working with other teams on ad hoc projects as a SME utilisation resource from the Enterprise Apps team to complete project tasks on time and within budget.
14. Developing solutions that improve the efficiency and capability of CE system users.
15. Implementing product best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configurations.
16. Become the subject matter expert in cross-functional projects to represent the requirements and expectations of the tech and business teams.
17. Help and guidance with training SMEs in areas specific to their BAU activities.
18. Working closely with the D365 technical delivery manager on areas that require further engagement with the business and partner where required.
19. Working with the business SMEs, help with knowledge, answer questions, drive a knowledge base.
20. Supporting on surrounding application projects e.g. Leads Project to help transition to Support.
21. Help contain and manage DevOps items and ensure awareness of risks and work items being delivered is given to the managers.
22. Assisting in the platform releases (upgrades) with regression testing and working with the business to arrange functional tests.
23. Data migration: Assist with the facilitation of data sets for ETL activities, working with the business teams.
24. Facilitate the collection of diverse data sets from different sources and provide insight into the data based on business needs/requirements. Translate data analysis into impactful insights.
Who You Are:
1. 3+ years of experience configuring and implementing Dynamics 365 CE, including technical development skills (customisation, extension and integration).
2. 1+ year of using or supporting or implementing Power Platform preferred.
3. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years relevant work experience and relevant college coursework in computer science, information technology or a related area; or bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems and 5+ years relevant work experience and relevant college coursework in business, accounting, finance, or a related area.
4. Good knowledge of D365 CE; Power Platform skills are a significant advantage.
5. Proven experience in business analysis with organisations of various size and complexity is an advantage.
6. Business process mapping and optimisation.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Experience leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies.
9. Good interpersonal skills, possessing the confidence to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
10. Must have in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE.
11. Understanding of Project Operations (on D365-CE), Power Platform.
12. Good grasp of new and emerging technology trends.
13. Any experience on D365-F&O is a bonus
