The Opportunity:
As the Sales Specialist, you will report directly to the Sales Lead and be responsible for regional sales achievement in the Western Cape region of South Africa managing products for Nephrology and Transplant. The territory includes Cape Town and its surrounding area, as well as the Garden Route.
Key Activities:

- Executing effective sales strategy.
- Conducting frequent and high-quality analysis of territory.
- Managing customer interactions in line with regional planning to ensure high-impact sales calls.
- Maintaining superior product and disease knowledge.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams when required.
- Conducting all activities in an ethical and compliant manner.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales having worked with a global pharmaceutical organization in South Africa.
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Collaborative & Proactive in nature.
- Ability to work independently.
- Valid Code 8 driver's license.

Preferred Experience:

- Knowledge and experience in transplant and renal would be highly desirable.

Education:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Additional Information:

- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- Candidates should be based in Cape Town, South Africa.
- This position is field based in Cape Town, South Africa with travel to Johannesburg office 2 – 3 times a year. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
