Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand how all parts of the business model works together (processes, operating systems, application architecture) to design a specific solution that meets business needs.
2. Translate technical project details into a language that all stakeholders can understand.
3. Analyse project constraints and make technological decisions that will reconcile restrictions with project goals.
4. Determine which technology stack will best fit the product by conducting technology assessments and comparisons.
5. Analyse all non-functional requirements (e.g., security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, reliability, etc.) to ensure that product engineering can be met.
6. Create a general blueprint and solution prototype that depicts the future architecture of the product based on expectations and the existing environment.
7. Estimate the budget to achieve the technical vision of the product and present this to the relevant stakeholders.
8. Provide oversight and control of the solution development.
9. Provide support to project management activities to ensure that resources, risk recognition, and planning remain aligned with solution goals.
10. Coach and provide support to less experienced solution architects.
11. Responsible for solution architectures to build and/or migrate EDA tools into public Cloud like AWS, Azure.
12. Responsible for managing and providing operational support of multiple cloud environments.
13. Architect, deploy, and administer Linux virtual machines in a multi-tenant/vendor cloud environment.
14. Develop a strategy to automate operational procedures for auto-scaling and deployment, leveraging AWS and third-party tools.
15. Lead Cloud Strategy development defining business drivers, cloud adoption roadmap, and business case.
16. Assess clients’ workloads and technology landscape and define strategy to transform to AWS.
17. Prescribe the Architecture, tools, frameworks for accelerated cloud adoption.
18. Participate in and oversee the design of Cloud solutions, from conceptual, logical, and physical design to meet client’s business and technical requirements leveraging architecture patterns and following development processes.
19. Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation.
20. Create user interactions on various websites and platforms, writing code optimized for mobile and develop databases and services for functionality.
21. Design, build, test, and implement software solutions.
22. Write clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.
23. Test and fix bugs or other coding issues.
24. Design, code, and test programs and scripts against agreed specifications.
25. Conduct releases to test and production environments and implement post-release reviews.
26. Document application processes for future maintenance and upgrades.
27. Write technical specifications, documenting code throughout the development process, including changes made and special instructions required for deployment.
28. Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
29. Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects and perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
30. Transcribe data onto the change management system, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.

Qualification and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
2. ITIL.
3. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, IASA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Open Group Certified Architect).
4. AWS skills specialized in serverless development.
5. NodeJs, PHP, C#, Javascript, CSS.
6. Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL - In-depth knowledge or skills in creating stored procedures, data structure, and performance with large data volumes.
7. Experience with Docker Containers.
8. Mobile development (Flutter).
9. API development and front ends.
10. Must be comfortable in a Linux environment.
11. At least 5 years’ experience in a software development or technical architect or similar role (one or more IT areas).
12. At least 2-3 years’ experience in a solution architecture role.
13. Experience in the implementation of structured design and architecture processes in a corporate environment.
14. Experience in the development and usage of technology platforms/models to achieve business outcomes.
15. Track record within a number of IT programmes, owning the architecture and design activities.
16. Experience managing projects and related resources.
17. DevOps experience.
18. Experience of developing and implementing relevant strategies in a multi-supplier environment, managing third-party services.
