Job Title: Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Santam. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud architectures that align with business strategy and objectives
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including cloud platforms, storage, and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams on cloud-related matters
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends
Requirements:
  • BSc/BCom/BTech/BEng/Honours in Information Systems or Business
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technology roles, with 3 years in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, systems design, and operating at enterprise level
  • 3 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud designs, and cloud implementation on AWS (preferred), Azure, or both
  • Experience in cloud security concepts, cloud concepts, and hybrid- and multi-cloud environments
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, ability to negotiate and positively influence others
