Job Title: Commercial Insurance Sales Executive

Green Marble Recruitment Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Executive to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in commercial insurance sales and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, presenting them with suitable product proposals, and confirming policy sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure retention of business and facilitate new business.
  • Complete and accurate administration related to all policies and clients.
  • Analyse client needs through interviews and/or inspections.
  • Identify and propose the best product(s) to clients.
  • Calculate premiums and establish payment methods.
  • Notify the insurance agent and accounts department of policy cancellations.
  • Maintain knowledge of insurer products and services.
  • Propose new product ideas and gather competitor information.
Requirements:
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
  • 8 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • 5 years of experience in commercial and personal lines.
  • Short-term Insurance qualification.
  • RE 5 Certification.
  • Product Specific Training.
  • Class of Business Commercial and Personal Lines.
  • CPD hours in the current cycle.
  • Extensive knowledge of all classes of insurance and related products.
  • Proven sales and marketing track record in Insurance.
  • Experience with insurance systems such as Flexi and Cardinal 360.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Good administration skills.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Insurers and insurance products.
  • Time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
