Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Strategist will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information from the point of transaction through to financial close. This role involves producing key financial information, driving budgeting, forecasting, and accurate reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annually).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all accounting functions, including General Ledger, Purchase Orders, Trade and Other Payable, Inventory, Fixed and Intangible Assets, and account reconciliations for the Division.
  • Ensure compliance with the Group's hedging policy and monitor its effectiveness.
  • Manage the month-end close process.
  • Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and year-end operational finance dashboards, including cash flow statements and working capital balance monitoring.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for a highly skilled finance professional with strong commercial skills and experience in financial analysis. The successful candidate will possess excellent data accuracy and analytical skills, as well as experience with Hyperion and Oracle.


Requirements:
  • CA (SA) with at least 2 years post-article experience.
  • Strong commercial skills with experience of financial analysis.
  • Possess excellent data accuracy and analytical skills.
  • Hyperion and Oracle experience advantageous, Advanced Excel skills essential.
