Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Administration Specialist to join our team in Old Mutual South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior colleagues and executives, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. Key responsibilities include producing and updating Microsoft documents, scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and designing work schedules.

As an Administration Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting, as well as budgeting and financial acumen. You will also contribute to the development of excellent process or technical skills through participation in assessment and development planning activities, formal training, and coaching. Ultimately, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational compliance with organizational policies and procedures, adhering to regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree is advantageous.
  • Computer literate - MS suite of products (Excel, Word, Schedule, E-mail, Internet).
  • Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, good judgement and problem-solving skills, analytical, good Interpersonal skills and positive attitude, ability to work both independently and within a team context.
