Job Summary:

The Proposal Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the business development efforts of the investment management firm. This position involves collaborating closely with business development teams, investment teams, and various stakeholders to create high-quality proposal materials that align with the company's growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end project management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), capability documents, and presentation processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the company's internal systems, teams, products, and processes to effectively inform proposal content.
  • Ensure that information databases are accurate, complete, and maintained regularly.
  • Manage the review processes for all submissions to uphold quality standards.
  • Adhere to JSE compliance requirements and support the Compliance Officer in ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, including Exchange Rules and Directives.
Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a technical support role with exposure to RFPs and DDQs.
  • A keen interest in financial markets and investments across various asset classes.
  • Proven project management and excellent writing skills.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Finance, Economics, or a related field).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
