A highly experienced Practice Manager is sought after by iMedrecruit to join our team in a busy Orthopaedic practice in the southern suburbs of Cape Town.

The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of private medical practices, being hands-on, organized, efficient, and willing to work hard. Key responsibilities include providing support to the practice operations manager and doctor, ensuring the smooth running of the practice, and coordinating theatre lists.

  1. Manage theatre and booking process:
  2. Prepare consents, authorization, and admission forms.
  3. Sit with patients to obtain signed consent, explain theatre process, book surgery dates.
  4. Arrange theatre requirements with representatives.
  5. Distribute theatre lists and information to patients.
  6. Update Google Sheets with theatre bookings.
  7. Prepare theatre files for doctors.
  8. Attend to dictations and distribution of feedback, medical reports, letters of motivation etc.
  9. Perform PA duties such as flight bookings, conference bookings, diary management etc.
  10. Reception duties on Fridays and as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate theatre and patient services.
  • Manage theatre bookings and preparations.
  • Ensure smooth practice operations.
