The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage teams and budgets effectively. They should also possess a valid driver's license and be physically fit to manage a primary health care clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate the primary health care clinic in accordance with industry regulations and best practices
- Set clinic objectives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
- Ensure all clinic services are available at optimal levels and meet business objectives
- Maintain accurate records of patient details and ensure communication is followed up
- Process claims accurately and timeously according to industry standards
- Ensure stock and equipment in the clinic are in good working condition
- Build and maintain healthy relationships with patients, colleagues, medical aids, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong competencies in community health nursing, primary health care, and occupational health nursing
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in general nursing or midwifery
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- BHF registration as a nursing practitioner
- 2-3 years of experience in practicing as a primary health care clinic sister
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong command of English (written and oral)
- Ability to manage teams and self
- Emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial flair
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
