Network Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Payroll: Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and South African labour laws.
  • Prepare Payroll Data: Prepare and verify payroll data, including working hours, deductions, overtime, and benefits.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure payroll records are accurate and up-to-date in the payroll system.
  • Handle Queries: Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely assistance and solutions.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports related to payroll, taxes, and benefits for internal review.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to update payroll records based on new hires, terminations, and other employee changes.
  • Administer Statutory Deductions: Assist in the administration of statutory deductions, such as PAYE, UIF registrations, and SDL, and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or Certification: Diploma or relevant certification in Payroll Administration, Accounting, or HR is preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Pastel, VIP, or online) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Labour Laws: Strong understanding of South African labour laws and payroll regulations.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for handling employee inquiries.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
