Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

About the Role
This role plays a critical part in supporting the financial and operational efficiency of our team. The successful candidate will process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and South African labour laws.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and South African labour laws.
  2. Prepare and verify payroll data, including working hours, deductions, overtime, and benefits.
  3. Ensure payroll records are accurate and up to date in the payroll system.
  4. Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely assistance and solutions.
  5. Prepare reports related to payroll, taxes, and benefits for internal review.
  6. C coordinate with HR and Finance teams to update payroll records based on new hires, terminations, and other employee changes.
  7. Assist in the administration of statutory deductions, such as PAYE, UIF registrations, and SDL, and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security for all employee information.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or relevant certification in Payroll Administration, Accounting, or HR is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Pastel, VIP, or online) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of South African labour laws and payroll regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills for handling employee inquiries.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Salary Estimate
R500 000 - R700 000 per annum, depending on experience.
