Network Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administration Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take on a challenging role, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong understanding of payroll regulations, who can ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll administration, proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Pastel, VIP, or online) and Microsoft Excel.

They will also possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process the payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and South African labour laws.
  • Prepare and verify payroll data, including working hours, deductions, overtime, and benefits.
  • Ensure payroll records are accurate and up-to-date in the payroll system.
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely assistance and solutions.
  • Prepare reports related to payroll, taxes, and benefits for internal review.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to update payroll records based on new hires, terminations, and other employee changes.
  • Assist in the administration of statutory deductions, such as PAYE, UIF registrations, and SDL, and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
Qualifications & Skills

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma or relevant certification in Payroll Administration, Accounting, or HR, with at least 2 years of experience in payroll administration.

A strong understanding of South African labour laws and payroll regulations is essential, as well as proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.

We offer a competitive salary of R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
