We employ over 13,000 people across three business divisions: Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Fruit, Snacks, Juice & Beverages. As a Warehouse Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities- Manage and control warehouse equipment, including crates, pallets, scales, and forklifts.
- Implement stock control and store management procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely ordering and procurement of parts.
- Monitor job tracking against plan and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Capture and record PM-related data accurately to ensure quality acquisition.
- Generate work orders in a timely manner for batch processing and collect feedback information.
- Validate data for discrepancies and review accuracy regularly.
- E nsure work orders align with the plan and schedule, collecting and entering feedback information.
- Track backlog and close off completed tasks efficiently.
- Process requisitions for purchasing and prepare reports as required.
- A Grade 12 certificate with a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physical Science.
- A N3 qualification or equivalent in a related field would be advantageous.
- Experience in production processes, purchase orders, stock taking, and communication with suppliers is essential.
- Advanced computer literacy in MS Office is mandatory, while working knowledge of SAP and plant maintenance administration duties would be beneficial.
As a Warehouse Inventory Management Specialist, you will require excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with a valid Code 8 driver's license. If successful, you will undergo a Medical Fitness Certification.
