We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at Collinson. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for handling inbound claims calls and emails, assessing claims, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review claims in accordance with policy wording and insurer guidelines.
  • Provide comprehensive verbal and written advice on policy wording and claims.
  • Assess claims accurately and respond to claimants with clear and concise information.
  • Monitor recovery aspects of claims and obtain amounts due where applicable.
  • Input claims payments into the claims system.
  • Identify and act upon potential fraud indicators.
  • Develop industry best practices for customer service to achieve high levels of customer service delivery.
  • Handle and respond to customer emails within 24 hours.
  • Work to agreed standards of accuracy, quality, and business procedures for all areas of call handling and claims assessment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in insurance claims is preferable.
  • Knowledge of key travel insurance products is ideal.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Numeracy and ability to analyze statistical information.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in German.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good command of the German language.
  • Confident and helpful telephone manner.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Gotrex claims system or similar claims systems.
  • Understanding of FSA regulations and the TCF concept.
