About the Role

iStaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement role within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement:
  2. Procure quality dry goods at competitive prices with optimal lead times.
  3. Effective supplier selection, performance monitoring, and contract negotiation.
  4. Accurate and up-to-date purchasing information on SAGE.
  5. Timely communication of order progress / delivery changes.
  6. Maintained price list database and filing system.
  7. Timely annual update of standard costs.
  8. Effective raw material procurement for all clients.
  9. Timely supplier price negotiations and rebates.
  10. Accurate documentation processing within deadlines.
  11. Proactive problem investigation and corrective action.
  12. Seamless collaboration with NPD on changes, meeting deadlines.
Production Scheduling (Backup):
  1. Accurate processing of orders / instructions.
  2. Monitoring of production schedules.
  3. Effective liaison with production team.
  4. Accurate order processing (quantity, specification, time).
People Management:
  1. Effective communication and staff supervision.
  2. Well-informed, trained, and motivated staff (Include specific activities like regular team meetings and training).
Analysis & Reporting:
  1. Timely reporting on Rework, Deviation, CAR, and Complaints.
  2. Timely action log preparation.
  3. Regular production team feedback.
  4. Proactive notification of delivery issues.
  5. Accurate stock monitoring and reconciliation.
  6. Inventory movement monitoring.
  7. Assistance with stock taking.
  8. Stock Loss Analysis Report.
  9. Timely update of SLA, KPI, and QCDSM reports.
  10. Timely Time & Attendance reports.
Quality & Safety:
  1. Adherence to QMS standards and protocols.
  2. Adherence to GMP protocol.
  3. Maintained housekeeping standards.
  4. Compliance with company and statutory policies.
  5. Supplier adherence to QMS standards.
  6. Compliance with HACCP and H&S policies.
