Job Title: Operations Manager

CME Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our printing and packaging facility in KZN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Oversight: Manage the entire production process, ensuring timely and efficient output.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise the production team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and supplies.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and services.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and maintain efficient workflows and processes, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in an operations management role within the printing and packaging industry.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of printing and packaging technologies and processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with production management software and inventory management systems
