Job Title: Financial Director

Stratogo is seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to lead our financial operations and drive business growth.

Job Summary

The Financial Director will be responsible for directing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with national and international accounting standards, and implementing sound financial management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with national and international accounting standards.
  • Implement sound financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Manage and control the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and review financial data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and employment equity requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, ensuring adequate facilities are available.
  • Administer bank guarantees and bonds, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Interact with external auditors, ensuring annual external audits are performed and audited annual financial statements are submitted timeously.
Requirements
  • BCom/ BAccSci/ BCompt (Accounting) plus Honours preferable.
  • Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, MBA or CA(SA))
  • Computer literate Google suites and JD Edward compulsory
  • At least 5-7 years experience as a Finance Manager or Senior in Finance
  • Experience in systems implementation
  • Should be prepared to travel
  • Financial organisation skills
  • Proactive team leader and organisational skills
