About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Public Sector Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales activity plans to achieve agreed-upon targets in the public sector market.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and execution of sales activity plans to achieve targets
- Sales into new public sector accounts, including state purchasing contracts and vehicles
- Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual new business and upsell targets
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and execute account plans
- Providing insights and recommendations to support business growth
Requirements
- IT sales experience, ideally in email/messaging/security/storage
- Proven new business sales achievement in large public sector accounts
- Strong understanding of public sector contracts, cycles, and buying processes
- Excellent communication/presentation skills
