As a Dry Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in developing innovative denim products that meet customer needs. Your expertise in laser technology, dry processes, and supplier management will enable us to stay ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of digital samples using designer-created designs.
  • Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to develop recipes and product designs.
  • Ensure efficient operation of laser machines and oversee dry processes in the lab.
  • Provide technical guidance to wet technicians on finishing recipes.
  • Engage with suppliers to develop recipes and product samples.
  • Support the design team in developing new techniques and styles.
  • Translate lab recipes to bulk wash plants.
  • Develop wash libraries and seasonal wash developments.
  • Collaborate with buying and design teams to meet strategic objectives.
  • Manage KPIs and ensure performance targets are met.
  • Address supplier-related issues and improve processes.
  • Deliver samples for divisional capsule showings within tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Clothing Management or Clothing Production or Fashion Design.
  • MDP or SMDP qualification desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and design, particularly in denim wash plants and laser environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of design, product development, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with the denim industry and its challenges.
  • Proven experience in similar roles, with a strong track record of design, product development, and supplier management.
