Safety Quality and Environmental Leadership
This role is responsible for developing and implementing various Safety, Quality, and Environmental solutions for the specific region under their control.
They will work closely with operations management to ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance is implemented and maintained.
The individual will influence regional leaders to adhere to the company's strategic Zero Harm and customer satisfaction objectives to meet legal and local statutory obligations.
Responsibilities include:
- Administration of safety-related matters and initiatives, including SEMP/GAP audits, monthly safety meetings, minutes, and reports.
- Compiling, presenting, allocating, and completing safety projects, such as staff segregation initiatives, HIRA's, and Near Miss reports.
- Closure of resultant corrective actions for local environmental obligations.
- Administering Supplier and Visitor inductions, recording, and filing.
- Leading the SHE/SEMP reports and Sustainability reports on behalf of the Plant Manager.
- Monitoring progress of CCAR/Risk reports submitted and providing feedback for safety meetings.
- Recording and maintaining records of all HIRA's on the designated register and updating Plant Manager on a monthly basis.
- Providing minutes of Management and Safety Committee meetings and Cell-C meetings.
- Driving and monitoring record-keeping of all non-compliances for customers and contractors.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant experience and tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
Valid EB driver's license and ability to travel in the region are essential.
