Job Title: Regional Sales Supervisor

At Mukuru, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Operations Manager to oversee our sales operations within the Eastern Cape region. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our sales operations.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients, as well as supporting and guiding a team of Super Service Providers to achieve their goals.
  • This role involves scouting out new areas and locations for Info Centers, collaborating with Marketing, and fostering strong relationships with customers.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and objectives within your region, working closely with the Provincial Sales Manager.
  2. Oversee and manage a team of Super Service Providers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their goals.
  3. Foster strong relationships with clients and partners within the region, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our company.
  4. Monitor and analyze regional sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  5. Support the Lead Regional in organizing and conducting training sessions to enhance the sales strategies and product knowledge of the Super Service Providers.
  6. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the Super Service Providers, Service Providers, and other internal departments.
  7. Implement and maintain service standards and protocols to ensure the delivery of world-class service to our clients within the region.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, conducting regular market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  9. Collaborate with the Lead Regional and other stakeholders to develop and implement marketing and promotional initiatives within the region.
  10. Visit key clients within the region to build and maintain relationships, understand their needs, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  11. Attend meetings with the Lead Regional and regional sales teams to provide updates on regional performance, progress, and challenges.
  12. Drive team morale and engagement by recognizing achievements, creating a positive work environment, and fostering teamwork.
  13. Provide assistance and support to the Super Service Providers in resolving complex client issues or concerns.
  14. Collaborate with the Lead Regional and other regional counterparts to share best practices and ensure consistency in sales strategies and processes.
  15. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new Super Service Providers, ensuring the team is adequately staffed and equipped to meet targets.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a sales or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
  • Familiarity with the regional market and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
  • Experience in training and coaching sales teams is a plus.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent (Desirable).
  • Understanding and speaking of Shona, Chewa, Ndebele, or any other relevant language (Essential).
  • At least 1 year Regional Sales Manager experience.
Salary:

R400,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
