Senior Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for managing complex network security issues, implementing security solutions, and providing expert guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities- Network Security Management: Manage and maintain the security landscape, including firewalls, ISEs, and proxies.
- Incident Response: Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to security alerts in a timely and effective manner.
- Security Policy Implementation: Implement security policies based on best practices and industry standards.
- Firewall Configuration: Implement and manage firewall rules to ensure secure network access.
- Risk Mitigation: Apply patches and upgrades to mitigate security risks and ensure the integrity of our network.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure timely and effective support.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a medium to large ICT organization.
- Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of common security issues, vulnerabilities, and attacks.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with implementing network security solutions, securing operating systems and platforms.
- Education: Advanced diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
- Certifications: Security + Fortinet NSE5 minimum, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Routing & Switching, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Security.
- ITIL: Up-to-date and relevant ITIL certification.
- Cisco Certifications: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - Routing and Switching (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional - Wireless (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - Security (CCIE-S).
- FireEye Technologies: Experience with FireEye technologies.
