**Job Title:** Sales Representative

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key account customers, defining sales and marketing objectives, and driving sales budgets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage key account customers selling rigid plastic packaging products into the food and beverage, agriculture, and related industries.
  • Sales Strategy: Define sales and marketing objectives and strategies for sales territories.
  • Sales Performance: Drive sales budgets, forecasts, and yearly sales targets.
  • Market Share: Obtain market share according to the company's strategy.
  • Contract Management: Manage and oversee all contracts and agreements with customers and distributors in alignment with the company's strategy.
  • Quality and Operations: Assist quality and operations in ensuring that the customer complaint reporting process is adhered to.
  • Sales Reporting: Generate and present sales reports to senior management.
  • New Business: Obtain and initiate new business projects.
  • Product Optimization: Optimise and selectively implement new products in order to maximise profit.
  • Pricing Negotiation: Manage and negotiate pricing with customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the rigid plastic packaging or agriculture or large waste bin markets.
  • Previous sales experience is essential.
  • Ability to work in a team and have good Excel and Word experience.
  • Fluency in Afrikaans.
