Inventory Control:

  • Ensure accurate receipt and unpacking of stock to effectively merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
  • Monitor stock levels through established processes, including stock counts and loss prevention strategies, to maintain adequate inventory.
  • Maintain the stockroom to meet cleanliness and organization standards.
  • Assist in the authorization of write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

Sales Enhancement & Profitability:

  • Analyze sales and profitability reports to collaborate with management on operational strategies aimed at improving sales performance.
  • Continuously review in-store product performance and provide insights to enhance sales.
  • Identify new opportunities for sales growth and brand visibility, including in-store marketing initiatives.
  • Drive performance in credit, insurance, mobile, and cellular sales to meet budgetary goals.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Assist in conducting compliance checks through various processes to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Customer Experience Optimization:

  • Implement customer experience strategies through effective execution of business directives, promotions, and customer feedback initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead the store team to achieve key performance indicators and align with company values.
  • Identify training and development needs to foster talent management and succession planning.
  • Manage recruitment and performance in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • NQF level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail, with management experience being advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of sales and service management.
  • Proficient budgeting skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail operations and customer service.
