About the Role

ADP, a Lycopodium business, is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Professional to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will ensure quality assurance within the ADP Group of companies, working closely with the HSEQ Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance practices in line with standards, group requirements, and specific contractual or project requirements.
  • Foster a quality culture within the business unit through facilitation and implementation of quality systems.
  • Monitor and audit projects to ensure adherence to contractual requirements, providing training as needed throughout the project life cycle.
  • Maintain and implement applicable sectors of quality systems in line with Group strategies.
  • Develop project quality plans and where required Project QCPs.
  • Review contractors' quality submissions and advise on compliance with PQP.
  • Schedule site visits for conducting compliance audits of quality systems processes.
  • Attend client site meetings as required, referencing quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Qualified ISO 9001:2018 Auditor certification.
  • 10+ years' experience in a similar role within the consulting engineering and EPCM environment.
  • Cape Town based.
  • South African Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while producing high-quality deliverables within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to use specific proprietary software packages relevant to design and drafting discipline.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication.
  • Good interpersonal skills and practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment.

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary for this role is around R850,000 - R1,050,000 per annum, depending on experience.
