Job Title: Business Solutions Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering business value by effectively eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business opportunities, problems, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with various stakeholders, including technology, business, project managers, and testing analysts, to create and recommend business solutions.
  • Ensure alignment to relevant processes and compliance to legislative and audit requirements.
  • Assess, analyze, and optimize end-to-end business processes, documenting business process requirements through research, interviews, or facilitation sessions.
  • Compile business requirements documentation with the business sponsor and manage the process of compiling business and functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Appropriate milestone management and logging of documents, following the appropriate SDLC.
  • Understand and assist in creating the best and most suitable solution design that meets user requirements.
  • Oversee the compilation of test scripts, compiled through testing and audit the test results.
  • Provide test cases and scenarios for implemented systems, test projects, and system changes in various environments and assess current business rules, processes, and procedures.
  • Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback, and request training where appropriate.
  • Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas are actively shared.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. You will also need to have a strong understanding of business processes and systems, as well as the ability to analyze and optimize business processes.
