Business System Analyst

Our skilled Business Analysts excel in identifying needs and determining solutions. We employ either an agile or waterfall approach to defining requirements, depending on the client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical design sessions with IT architects and compile functional specifications.
  • Design and manage the implementation of automated schedules in Control-M with the respective team.
  • Create and document test scenarios for testing purposes when applicable.
  • Work with the Data Warehouse team to define and source new data requirements and maintain data mapping specifications.
  • Collaborate with the software vendor on system-specific issues and resolutions.
  • Manage the entire delivery process, from understanding requirements to documentation, change management, testing, and review.
  • Provide general day-to-day production application support and operational requests from business data and system-specific queries and resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems/Business Analyst, preferably in the Banking or Financial industry.
  • Ability to write SQL queries to retrieve data from databases.
  • Prior work experience or knowledge of financial market instruments is a must.
  • Exposure to Credit Instruments, Credit Structures, Credit Modelling, and understanding of credit jargon.
  • Experience with ETL and SQL.
  • Exposure to Credit Regulations from an origination perspective.
