About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business change and improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an interface between business stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct business analysis, planning, and documentation to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements specifications, functional specifications, and business solutions specifications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Assess and analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business solutions and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to the development of the team's skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
