At BGA Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Draughtsman - KZN North Coast Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that structures are built in compliance with the estate's design code documents and approved building plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Review plans to ensure compliance with building codes, local ordinances, zone regulations, and contract specifications.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections at each stage of the building process, write reports, and maintain records.
  3. Monitor construction sites periodically to ensure overall compliance.
  4. Verify alignment, level, and elevation of structures to ensure they meet specifications.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the field.
  • Architectural Technologist/Draughting Qualification.
  • Certificate and/or experience in health and safety.

Skills:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
