We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Tower Group. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating metallurgical processes and providing technical input for quotes and tenders. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our clients\u2019 processes to maximize sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input for quotes and tenders, including equipment selection, pricing, and costing.
  • Ensure enquiry reviews are conducted when required.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Report on market activities as per departmental requirements.
  • Manage customer requests, queries, and complaints as per SLA.
  • Ensure process technology is supplied in adherence to client requirements.
  • Visit designated clients as defined by management and schedule.
  • Provide training to clients, operators, and other plant personnel as required.
  • Review R&D test work reports to ensure technical accuracy and improve reporting standards.
  • Validate mass balances, recommendations, and conclusions.
  • Compile reports on test work and conduct test work where required.
  • Assist in compilation and updating of operating and maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure QA/QC procedures are adhered to and internationally accepted standards are maintained.
  • Ensure safety procedures are adhered to as per business and OHSA requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 3+ years\u2019 experience in a mineral processing environment.
  • Displays appropriate understanding of company products and pricing in relation to job output.
  • Working experience with samplers, spirals, and magnetics is advantageous.
  • Displays solid knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Continuous learner, quality orientated, persuasive, customer focused, good communicator, and high quality work standards.
