Job Title: Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Tower Group. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in evaluating metallurgical processes and providing technical input for quotes and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for quotes and tenders, including equipment selection, pricing, and costing.
  • Conduct enquiry reviews for all enquiries as required.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Report on market activities as per departmental requirements.
  • Manage customer requests, queries, and complaints as per SLA.
  • Ensure process technology is supplied in adherence to client requirements.
  • Visit designated clients as defined by management and schedule.
  • Provide training to clients, operators, and other plant personnel as required.
  • Review R&D test work reports to ensure technical accuracy and improve reporting standards.
  • Validate mass balances, recommendations, and conclusions.
  • Compile reports on test work and conduct test work as required.
  • Assist in compilation and updating of operating and maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure QA/QC procedures are adhered to and internationally accepted standards are maintained.
  • Ensure safety procedures are adhered to as per business and OHSA requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience in a mineral processing environment.
  • Displays understanding of company products and pricing in relation to job output.
  • Working experience with samplers, spirals, and magnetics is advantageous.
  • Displays solid knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Continuous learner, quality orientated, persuasive, customer focused, good communicator, and high quality work standards.
