Job Title: Financial Crime Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Crime Investigator to join our team in Gauteng, Randburg.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading financial institution, where you will be responsible for investigating and preventing financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into financial crimes, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
  • Analyze complex data and identify patterns to prevent future financial crimes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal and compliance teams, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in financial crime prevention.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB), Finance, Accounting, Psychology and Criminology or related field.
  • Diploma in Forensic Investigation and Criminal Justice or at least 5 years of experience in the Banking environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including criminal, civil, and labour law.
