E-Merge is a well-established Crypto Trading house and Fintech based in South Africa, on the hunt for a technically savvy PHP Developer with skills in Python and a keen understanding of financial markets.

This role requires designing, developing, and maintaining a top FX and crypto trading platform, with a strong focus on both development and cybersecurity to ensure robustness against associated risks.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Software Developer who is eager to learn from seasoned professionals in the Blockchain space, while adapting to new technologies and trends on the fly.

Key requirements include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on JavaScript, Python, and PHP
  • Experience with trading platforms and financial systems will serve you well
  • Strong understanding of system design and architecture
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and risk management
  • Understanding of FX and cryptocurrency markets, including market data analysis and trading strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar is required, with a strong background in cryptography, mathematics, or computer science essential for developing and implementing blockchain technology.

This permanent position offers a salary of R800,000 per annum.
