As a Global Financial Analyst in TMF Group, you will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality financial analysis to a portfolio of assigned clients. You will work in accordance with local accounting and tax legislation, as well as internal clients' regulations, and in compliance with all internal procedures and standards.

Through your work with various clients from different industries, you will have the opportunity to enrich your knowledge of financial complexities and stay up-to-date with the latest accounting standards and local legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough financial analysis and preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of investment fund structures in Investran.
  2. Prepare and reconcile monthly bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Maintain proactive communication with the Fund Accounting Manager to ensure that the status of all deliverables is clearly understood.
  4. Collaborate with counterparts on other teams to ensure seamless and coordinated service delivery.
  5. Maintain files in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  6. Proactively develop your skills within the wider business and assist other teams as needed.
  7. In addition to the duties listed above, the Fund Accountant may be requested to perform any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the Fund Accounting Manager.
  8. Prepare quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements, including assisting with the audit process.
  9. Demonstrate competence in all fund accounting work and progress to more complex cases and an increased volume of work as your knowledge of the entities and accounting standards increases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  2. 3 years' experience in the financial services industry.
  3. Professional studies towards a recognized accountancy qualification.
  4. Good knowledge of IFRS and other GAAPs.
  5. Knowledge of Investran and familiarity with tax-efficient European fund structures and related investment vehicles and regulatory requirements.
  6. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
